Set in the far distant time of (checks notes) the year 2000, we recount a heart-warming story of how one of Janeway’s ancestors was instrumental in getting a lonely old man to shut down an independent bookshop, give up his home and his dreams, and help a gutsy, heroic corporation to establish a company town. Some stuff also happens in space in the future but there’s no time-travel shenanigans at all!
